the middle age bulge.

and i don't mean the one settling in around our mid-drift.

as i slide gently into the middle age category, i am 30 now, i am sensing the true beginnings of discovering parts of me and having no time to explore them.  i see how women, and men, lose themselves in their daily responsibilities.

so, i ask myself the question: what will i do about my bulge?  should i go ahead and exercise it and stop wasting what little time i do in front of lazy entertainment?  or should i just let it grow hording ideas with no motivation eventually burying them so deep that i will never see them again?

the initial answer seems easy.  the logistical answer is perplexing.

writing books and poems, reading, and penning music can still be a part of my daily experience, but it doesn't just "happen".  i have to take time, ideally at the point of inspiration, to exercise the bulge of ideas.

i am going to try.  are you?
